Work Status Details: REGULAR FULL TIME | 80.00 Hours Every Two Weeks Shift: Varied Pay Rate Type: Annual Salary Location: Yuma Medical Center Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates. Min = $90,758.62 Mid = $117,986.20 Max = $145,213.79 Summary: The Manager of Construction, Design and Planning at OnVida Health; reports to the Director of Construction, Planning and Design, and assisting the director with; plans, leading and managing internal construction projects, renovation and repair activities, and may assist with larger construction projects as directed and necessary while ensuring safe and efficient management of all construction projects assigned to the manager for Ambulatory and Off-site locations associated with the medical center. The manager is knowledgeable of regulatory and safety requirements for healthcare construction and provides leadership and management of staff assigned to perform and provide results at the highest quality and safe level. Works collaboratively with Infection Prevention and other key stakeholders to ensure patient safety throughout assigned projects. Responsibilities:

Managing and providing direction, engineered thinking and direct planning of department activities in a proactive manner while being open-minded and creative in establishing a operations direction; assists Director in developing, through an integration of ideas of those involved, an organized process to achieve both short and long term objectives for the department; effectively communicates direction to obtain commitment by the responsible department individuals; manages the identified strategic planning process as developed for the department; assists the Director in ensuring plans and objectives are integrated within the plans of the medical center; works with others in leadership as well as physicians to identify and evaluate programs and emerging technologies. The O&M Manager Demonstrates accountability for financial results of the department through successfully managing an annual budget and operational plan along with the management of performance based on plan; engages staff in efforts to contain costs and improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of services; understands the basics of health care financial management; assists the Director in developing budget targets for department and provides leadership for the process, and holds self and other individua Is accountable for compliance with annual budget plan; supports the department program or service growth opportunities and methodologies to enhance revenues; manages to a volume adjusted budget. Assists Director with Human Resources Management and Develops others through setting clear expectations, mentoring and coaching, and holding others accountable for results; Utilizing work force analysis, identifies required competencies needed for effective management of human resources and is able to identify short and long-term staffing needs; conducts oneself in an honest, credible, trustworthy manner consistent with ONVIDA HEALTH's values; demonstrates an integration of values, beliefs, attitudes and behaviors through an acceptance of responsibility and accountability for individual's own actions; ensures that the work force has the necessary skills to accomplish the work required to achieve the objectives of the department; partners with Human Resources to develop long-term human resource plans, anticipating future needs and developing employees able to meet those challenges; fosters an open working environment for easy access to express ideas and concerns; demonstrates and expects open communications; promotes an environment that is open and collaborative while keeping the team focused on a common goal; builds rapport, encourages teamwork, creates an environment where employees may feel empowered. Community Leverages the unique system capabilities {hospital and community providers) to increase value for external and internal customers and eliminate barriers to care; participates in community involvement; champions community involvement in the department and throughout the organization; promotes and encourage community involvement throughout the department; incorporates community goals in overall departmental goals; demonstrates involvement in Community events and hospital partnerships; maintains appropriate continued education as it relates to the role. Requirements:

  • Associates Degree
  • Fleet Safety
  • 3 years related; 1 years supervisory experience

PREFERRED: 4 years related; 3 years leadership in construction oversite in a healthcare setting.
