Work Status Details: REGULAR FULL TIME | 80.00 Hours Every Two Weeks Shift: Days Pay Rate Type: Hourly Location: Yuma Medical Center Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates. Min = $20.95 Mid = $26.19 Max = $31.43 Summary: The Endo Technician is a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) that supports physicians and nurses with the preparation and set up of specialized procedures and equipment, anticipates instrument needs intra procedure and assists the physician during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The Endo Tech assists in high-risk procedures, which may be highly technical and require specialized accessories and equipment. The Tech maintains and sets supply levels for endoscopy area and procedure rooms, and assists with emergent transportation needs. This individual independently maintains quality control documentation records for equipment and/ or reprocessing, maintains orders on all special items, adequate par levels, and special requests and needs. Responsibilities: Sterilize endoscope and other equipment before each procedure. Assists in prepping room for the next patient. Assists other members of team with cleaning of room. Assists in patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse within the LNA Scope of practice. Maintains supplies and stocks rooms. Other duties as assigned. Other Information Credentials: Essential: * BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) * LICENSED NURSING ASSISTANT (LNA) Education: Essential: * HS DIPLOMA/GED Other information: Education Required: Arizona or compact state License Nursing Assistant; BLS High School / GED Equiv Experience Required: 2 years related experience Experience Preferred: Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record or similar electronic record systems.
