Overview
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our dynamic team. The Installer will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of aluminum handicap ramps for veterans at their residence, ensuring that all installations meet company standards and customer satisfaction. This role requires a hard-working, detail-oriented individual who can work independently and use problem-solving abilities. The Installer must have use of a reliable truck to load and drive to installation locations around the Charleston/Myrtle Beach areas.
Installer will evaluate and install ramps at a rate of $40/hour plus a milage rate of $0.75 per mile to and from job site. Installer would be a 1099 employee/contractor.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair ramping according to specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with customer and supervisor to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service during installations, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate records of installations and service performed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during installation processes and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Use of reliable truck for travel to and from job sites.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with installation work.
