We’re seeking a Florida-licensed funeral director who can independently conduct at-need and pre-need arrangements, guide families with compassion, and manage cases with confidence and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Conduct compassionate, thorough at-need and pre-need arrangements.
- Explain funeral, cremation, memorial, and merchandise options clearly and respectfully.
- Coordinate and direct funeral, memorial, and graveside services.
- Manage cases from the first call through completion, including documentation and family follow-up.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, cemeteries, crematories, and other service providers.
- Assist with general housekeeping, routine office duties, and keeping the facility clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Participate in the shared night and weekend on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- Active Florida funeral director license.
- Ability to independently handle at-need and pre-need arrangements.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
- Comfort using technology and learning new systems.
- A professional, collaborative approach and a commitment to caring for every family.
