What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Program Manager position at VETERANS FIRST INITIATIVE LLC?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer a Quality Assurance (QA) program for designated systems and programs in accordance with TO 00-33A-1001 and AFRC Supplement to TO 00-5-1.
- Utilize applicable guidance to develop local checklists as needed to ensure standardized and objective evaluations of equipment, programs, and processes
- Perform comprehensive evaluations on designated sections which may include but not limited to, communications-electronics (C-E) maintenance, information technology (IT) infrastructure, , personal wireless communications, telephone systems, in support of unit training effectiveness.
- Evaluate operational readiness of communications equipment, network devices, sensors, intrusion detection, and other applicable support equipment
- Inspects and evaluates maintenance activities for compliance with directives
- Apply technical knowledge to provide advice and assistance to personnel engaged in maintaining and working with communications systems and programs.
- Identify equipment deficiencies and discrepancies by observing equipment operation and technician performance to detect malfunctions and problems
- Validate the performance of management functions, training programs, safety practices, supply discipline, security procedures, and standardized processes and procedures, to include Information assurance, network operations, asset management, publications/records and forms management.
- Analyze evaluation results, determine root causes, recommend deficiency resolution actions, and track progress to completion.
- Assist with unit inspection preparation IAW DAFI 90-302
- Coordinate evaluations when needed such as external inspections (Inspector General, audits), self-inspection program, exercise evaluation team and management control program.
- Manage technical order distribution office (TODO)
- Not expected: personnel evaluations and equipment acceptance inspections
- 5 years of experience in combat communications
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adhere to Cyber Workforce Role qualifications as identified in AFRC/A6 EIT PWS, para 5.2.1.
Salary : $82,000 - $92,000
