Position Overview
Veterans Fence is looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in keeping our yard and warehouse organized while supporting our crews and customers by preparing materials for jobs and deliveries.
This is a hands-on, active position working both indoors and outdoors in our warehouse and yard.
Responsibilities
Pull and stage fence materials for customer pickups and installation crews
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Assist with receiving incoming shipments and stocking materials
Maintain organization of yard inventory including vinyl, aluminum, wood, and chain link materials
Help keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and safe
Assist customers and drivers with loading materials when needed
Perform general yard maintenance and cleanup
Support team members with daily operational tasks
May go to the field to assist with Jobs during peak season times.
Qualifications
Ability to lift 50–100 lbs regularly
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong work ethic and reliability
Extremely organized and work efficiently
Forklift experience is a required
Warehouse, construction, or yard experience preferred but not required
Pay
$16–$19 per hour starting pay
Weekly attendance bonus available
(Pay based on experience)
Schedule
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Consistent 5-day work week
