Job Summary
Veterans Alliance is hiring Avionics Technicians for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico, supporting V-22 Osprey (CV-22/MV-22/CMV-22) heavy, depot, and O-level maintenance. This position is ideal for experienced avionics professionals or veterans with prior tiltrotor or similar rotary-wing experience.

Avionics troubleshooting, wiring, and systems integration required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics systems, wiring, and components
- Inspect, test, and maintain navigation, communication, and flight control systems
- Conduct system checks, continuity testing, and calibration following military and OEM standards
- Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
- Execute O-level and depot-level modifications and upgrades
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, documentation, and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of avionics experience – REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on V-22 experience – REQUIRED
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting, system testing, and harness fabrication
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass background/drug screening
- A&P license not required
- Candidates with relevant rotary-wing or tiltrotor backgrounds will be considered
Schedule & Compensation
- Pay Rate: $44.09/hr
- Per Diem: Up to $880 weekly (if eligible)
- Assignment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
- Location: Clovis, New Mexico (Cannon AFB)
