Position Overview
We are seeking qualified Physicians specializing in PM&R, Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Psychiatry to conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) disability claims. You will perform objective assessments and complete standardized web portal documentation (DBQs) to help veterans secure their service-connected disability benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct objective, in-person TBI evaluations for military veterans.
- Complete web portal documentation (Disability Benefit Questionnaires / DBQs) accurately and efficiently.
- Average exam and charting time ranges from 30 to 60 minutes per veteran.
- Provide a professional, respectful evaluation experience with no ongoing patient follow-up or care management.
Requirements
- Specialty Credentials: Must have completed a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Psychiatry.
- Training Availability: Must be available to travel to Oceanside, CA for our all-expenses-paid VMG Examiner Training. (Flights, hotel, and conference meals are fully paid by VMG).
- Skills: Strong clinical evaluation skills, attention to detail, and comfortable with web-based charting systems.
