Position Overview
As a Project/Proposal Manager for our speciality services business line, you'll have the opportunity to blend your technical expertise related to Civil/Geotechnical Engineering along with developing advanced pursuit capabilities in support of large, complex project pursuits for both new and exisitng clients. You'll work closely with Business Development, Marketing, SMEs, and Senior Leadership to create successful proposal responses and then lead project delivery through successful completion. This role ensures that all project activities are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client and regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects from proposal through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
Develop project estimates, proposals, and scopes of work in collaboration with technical and business development teams
Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to manage expectations, address issues, and ensure satisfaction.
Manage the full lifecycle of proposal development- from intake and kickoff through submission- ensuring timely, accurate, and compelling deliverables.
Review and interpret client requirements (RFPs/RFQs) and develop compliance matrices, outlines and production schedules.
Coordinate and collaborate wiht technical staff, project manager, and SMEs to develop and refine proposal content.
Create proposal sections, project descriptions and other supporting materials for proposals.
Lead and/or participate in proposal kickoff meetings, reviews, and debriefs, implementing lessons learned for future improvement.
Collaborate with marketing to create visuals, templates, and presentations that align with proposal objectives.
Track proposal metrics and support CRM data entry and reporting related to pursuits & outcomes.
Participate in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, laboratory, safety, and operational teams.
Perform other duties as assigned to support marketing and business development initiatives.
