BGIS is currently seeking a Critical Facility Engineer (Data Center) to join the team in Cheyenne, WY.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a self-motivated, tech-savvy Field Support Technician with knowledge of control/PLC systems and hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance. This role supports critical infrastructure and requires the ability to respond to site alarms within a 4-hour window. While the hours are not mandated on site, an on-site presence is required for regular system inspections, maintenance, and 24 hour emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to system alarms and alerts within a 4-hour window.
Respond to client requests and concerns regarding critical infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled systems and associated systems hardware.
Provide remote and on-site technical support for controls, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure system uptime and reliability.
Maintain documentation of service activities, system configurations, and incident reports.
Collect and provide data to develop standard business reporting metrics for site, equipment, and account status.
Schedule and perform scheduled maintenance, repairs and system upgrades as needed.
Schedule and manage vendor maintenance and repairs, as needed.
Assist with development MOPs (method of procedure) as necessary
