Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Appliance Repair Technician based in Cincinnati to join our team as a full time employee. In this 1099 CONTRACTOR role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of home appliances including refrigerators, ovens, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and more.
You’ll manage your own schedule within the Monday–Friday workweek, using your own vehicle and tools. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician looking for consistent work and competitive commission-based earnings.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair household appliances in customers' homes
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about issues and repairs
- Document services performed and parts used
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle
- Manage your own parts inventory and tool upkeep
- Provide excellent customer service and uphold company standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in appliance repair (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule
- Must have own reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance
- Must provide and maintain own tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver appliances safely
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Smartphone or tablet for dispatch and job documentation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in appliance repair preferred
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Military service experience or training in a related technical field
- Certification from a recognized appliance repair training program
