Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist!
Position Details
- Role: Veterinary Receptionist
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: $22 – $25 per hour, depending on experience
- Schedule: Four ten-hour shifts. Monday-Saturday, 8 am-6 pm.

- Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally
- Answer phones and manage high call volume efficiently
- Schedule appointments across a multi-doctor calendar
- Check patients in and out accurately
- Review estimates and invoices with clarity and confidence
- Collect payments and process transactions accurately
- Communicate hospital policies and service recommendations clearly
- Coordinate closely with technicians and doctors to maintain smooth patient flow
- Maintain clean, organized front desk and lobby areas
- Follow up with clients via calls, texts, or emails as needed
- Document communication accurately in medical records
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office preferred
- Strong customer service background
- Confidence managing multiple priorities at once
- Clear, compassionate communication skills
- Comfort discussing estimates and payments professionally
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in busy or emotional situations
- Team-first mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed
