- Assist veterinarians throughout patient treatments, procedures, and appointments
- Relieve doctors of technical duties to improve patient care efficiency
- Handle and care for patients with compassion and professionalism
- Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery
- Administer fluids and assist with diagnostics, surgery, and nursing care
- Perform laboratory testing to assist with diagnosis and treatment
- Accurately dispense and administer medications and vaccines
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records in the hospital software system
- Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional patient care and client service
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Open availability and flexibility with scheduling
- Ability to observe and assess patients for signs of illness or discomfort
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
