Position Details
- Role: Kennel Manager
- Status: Full-time

- Animal Care: Supervise the care and handling of all animals, including feeding, grooming, exercise, and administering medications as needed.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all animals are kept in a clean and safe environment, maintaining proper sanitation and hygiene protocols.
- Staff Management: Train and schedule kennel staff, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and effectively.
- Client Relations: Interact with clients to address inquiries, schedule appointments, invoice services, process payments, and ensure customer satisfaction with our services.
- Facility Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of kennel facilities and equipment, coordinating repairs and improvements as necessary.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, including food, medications, shampoos, and cleaning materials.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to animal care and kennel operations.
- Emergency Response: Handle emergencies and medical situations involving animals, following established protocols and seeking veterinary assistance when necessary.
- Proven experience in animal care and handling, with preference given to candidates with previous kennel management experience.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and communicate with clients.
- Knowledge of animal behavior, health, and nutrition, with the ability to recognize signs of illness or distress.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed to ensure 7 days/week care coverage.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks effectively.
