Electrical Estimator and Project Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator and Project Manager to join our growing team. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates utilizing construction estimating software such as McCormick estimating platform with the On Screen Estimation and Bluebeam, incorporating all relevant costs including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to develop accurate scopes of work and pricing strategies aligned with client requirements and industry standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code).
• Collaborate closely with project teams on contract administration, change order management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant construction regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong background in electrical systems and installations is preferred.
• Hands-on electrical experience combined with construction site experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with industry-standard estimating tools such as McCormick estimating platform with the On Screen Estimation and Bluebeam is essential.
• Demonstrated understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and their application in project design and execution.
• Prior experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced construction environment is a plus.

Estimation experience is a huge plus, we utilize the McCormick estimating platform with the On Screen Estimation Pro module. This is a full time position with immediate hire. Our office is in Burton Mi. and this is a position that requires you work in the office, and be available to make trips to the field. Vetcon, Inc. does a variety of projects including large scale residential developments, commercial and government contracting, as well as some service work, so a complete understanding of the electrical trade would be desired.
