About the Role:
As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll support our veterinarians and technicians with a variety of daily tasks, including:
- Assisting with exams, treatments, and procedures
- Handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately
- Administering medications, vaccinations, and anesthesia under doctor's supervision
- Assisting with lab work, imaging, and surgical prep
- Providing client education and excellent customer service
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
- Monday-Friday, 8 am 6 p,m with one set weekday off each week
- Rotating Saturdays
- Previous veterinary or animal care experience preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
