Overview:
Vet Partners Pet Hospital Apple Valley is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast paced, four doctor practice with a great support staff made up of Client Service Representatives, Certified Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants dedicated to improving the lives of pets and their owners.
Our team is made up of fun, positive and knowledgeable staff. We offer exceptional patient care and excellent client service.
We are looking for a caring, self-motivated individual who enjoys educating clients on what is best for their pets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in routine examinations, surgeries, and treatments
- Perform animal catheterization and monitor anesthesia
- Provide compassionate care to animals in the hospital
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hospital and kennels
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician required
- Proficiency in animal physiology and anatomy
- Knowledge of pet care practices and animal behavior
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and sample collection
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
