High volume fast paced mobile veterinary hospital seeks Veterinary Assistant or Technician (licensed or unlicensed).
Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant and become a vital part of providing exceptional animal care! In this energetic role, you will support veterinarians and veterinary technicians by performing a variety of hands-on tasks that ensure the health and well-being of our animal patients. You will be at the forefront of animal handling, medical support, and client communication, contributing to a compassionate and efficient veterinary practice. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in animal care while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Assist our veterinarians and staff with clinical procedures, including animal restraint, medication administration, and sample collection. Provide compassionate pet care and ensure animals are comfortable during their visits by utilizing proper animal handling techniques. Maintain a clean environment. Handle laboratory tasks such as sample processing, basic testing, and record keeping to support diagnostic efforts. Assist in animal catheterization, blood draws, and taking x rays. Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
