Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Director of Facilities Maintenance to oversee all building operations, safety systems, and environmental services for our skilled nursing facility.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department

Supervise and schedule maintenance technicians and housekeeping staff

Ensure compliance with DOH, OSHA, Life Safety, and fire code regulations

Oversee preventative maintenance programs and emergency repairs

Maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems

Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors

Maintain equipment logs, inspection records, and safety documentation

Conduct routine inspections of the facility and grounds
Qualifications:

2 years of maintenance leadership experience in a healthcare or long-term care facility – preferred

Strong knowledge of building systems, fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical

Experience managing compliance inspections and corrective actions

Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with nursing and administrative staff

High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade certification – preferred
