Duties
- Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process textiles effectively.
- Perform cleaning tasks including sanitation of work areas, laundry washing, and garment finishing.
- Handle materials carefully using manual handling techniques and push carts to transport items safely around the facility.
- Manage laundry services by sorting, folding, and preparing uniforms and textiles for delivery or storage.
- Maintain safety standards in production areas by following safety protocols and proper use of equipment.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies such as laundry detergents and textiles.
- Support team members in ensuring all production tasks meet quality standards and deadlines.
Requirements
- Prior experience with laundry services or textile cleaning is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for measuring detergents or calculating quantities.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in a production environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on garment care and cleanliness.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team.
