The Consignment team offers Vestiaire Collective's VIP customers a hassle-free selling service: We manage everything from at home collections, copywriting, photography, price management, storage and shipping on behalf of our clients.
As our first hire for our new Consignment US team, you will need the ability to work independently, have a strong commercial sense and proven track record of creating lasting client relationships that drive repeat business. This role will be based in New York.
The expected salary range for this is $70,000-$85,000 plus a 10% bonus, benefits and RSUs.
What you'll be doing
- Support the introduction of Vestiaire's Private Consignment service to the US market.
- Build strong relationships with your VIP & HNW client portfolio to increase retention & repeat deposits and drive for sales.
- Create and execute reactivation and referral campaigns to boost business.
- Advise your clients on our item selection guidelines, ensuring you optimise your clients' catalogues to increase sell through rates and maximise their sales.
- Assist clients with any problem or issues that may occur, schedule and honour appointments and provide an outstanding level of service.
- Liaise with our operational team to ensure all of your clients' items are handled promptly.
- Work hand-in-hand with the local marketing team to collaborate on events and Consignment client acquisition.
- Support with in-house campaign management to increase sell through rates.
- Work on other ad-hoc or cross-functional projects.
Who you are
You ideally have 5-7 years of professional experience within the luxury industry, preferably within Consignment re-commerce.
You are a luxury industry expert, with a very strong knowledge of fashion, brands, trends and pricing both on the 1st and secondary markets.
You have a black book of luxury clients, preferably existing 2nd hand Consignors.
You are comfortable communicating with demanding, HNW clients, can anticipate their needs and expectations, manage to problem solve and address issues in a calm and positive manner.
You have the ability to be a strong ambassador for Vestiaire, who represents Vestiaire's values and can build networks and referrals very quickly.
You have a strong will to overachieve your ambitious targets, have excellent organisational skills and are confident with using tools such as G-suite, Salesforce, CRM.
You are fluent in English.
