Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role based in Vestavia Hills, AL. The Maintenance Technician will perform essential maintenance tasks, including equipment repairs, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and addressing work orders. The role also involves inspecting and maintaining property systems, assisting with unit turnovers, and responding to emergency after-hours maintenance when instructed. You will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents while maintaining the property's appearance and functionality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Equipment Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Industrial Maintenance
• MUST BE EPA CERTIFIED
• Skills in Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and other system issues
• Proficiency in general Maintenance & Repair, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Competence in providing excellent customer service to residents
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
• Experience in property maintenance or a similar role is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy items, work in various weather conditions, and operate maintenance tools
