Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to ensure all supplies are available to meet surgical needs.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliable delivery, quality standards, and cost competitiveness.
- Oversee the purchasing process using the ENVI system to streamline order placement, tracking, and invoicing.
- Monitor inventory levels through inventory management systems to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing storage space and costs.
- Lead negotiations on contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and service agreements with suppliers.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and manage supplier performance metrics for ongoing improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on demand planning, and supply chain optimization initiatives.
Experience
- Proven experience in procurement or materials management within a healthcare setting, preferably within and ambulatory surgery center.
- Extensive knowledge of ERP systems such as ENVI for procurement, inventory control, and supply chain management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships effectively and negotiate contracts successfully.
- Experience in implementing supply chain best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and build strong supplier partnerships.
- Prior experience with inventory management tools and demand forecasting techniques is highly desirable.
