Overview
The Accounting Intern will support the Accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable and administrative accounting functions while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. This internship is designed to provide exposure to accounting systems, financial processes, vendor management, and cross-functional business operations. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in pursuing a career in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with invoice processing in accounting systems
- Support vendor setup and maintenance activities
- Help organize and reconcile accounting records and documentation
- Review invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with payment processing and tracking
- Monitor shared accounting inboxes and route inquiries appropriately
- Support electronic document management
- Learn and assist with multiple accounting platforms and systems
- Collaborate with members of the Accounting and Operations teams on special projects
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Experience with MRI, Yardi, or AvidXchange is a plus, but not required
