Pavement Preservation Superintendent Job Duties:
- Division Leadership, responsible for direction, coordination, and completion of pavement preservation projects
- Oversee estimating, planning, administration, staffing, safety, quality control, schedule, budget, and overall project performance
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, contractual agreements, and customer expectations
- Effectively lead field employees by communicating expectations, managing productivity, approving timesheets, and completing project closeout
- Coordinate and manage suppliers & subcontractors to ensure project performance and profitability
- Routine communication and trust-building with Company Leadership will allow for autonomy and growth within the position and Company
Ideal Candidate:
- Exceptionally strong people management & leadership capabilities
- 3 years of progressive experience in leadership role
- Previous experience with road construction and/or project management
- Ability to travel within 200 mile radius
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with email, computers and smartphone technology
- Extremely detail oriented
- Ability to multitask in stressful situations
- High School Graduate or higher
Job Details: This position presents an opportunity for the right candidate to make a substantial impact on the Company, become an essential part of our team, and directly interact with ownership on a daily/weekly basis. There is significant growth potential in the Division and this can be an extremely rewarding role. The position is year-round, but with seasonal demands coinciding with the summer construction season. Some local travel & hotel stays will be required. Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
