Vesta is hiring an experienced Property Manager for Village Green & Yarmouth Commons in Barnstable (Hyannis area), MA. You'll have full ownership of day-to-day operations: financial performance, leasing, compliance, resident retention, and a team you lead. What you'll do:
- Own the propertyies' financial results: annual budget, rent collection, delinquencies, and HAP/special claims
- Keep the community full through marketing, outreach, and a strong leasing team
- Stay compliant with affordable housing program requirements: recertifications, resident files and agency documentation
- Build strong relationships with residents and lead retention initiatives
- Recruit, train, and lead on-site staff
- Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the property safe, well-maintained, and ready to lease
- Lead the community emergency response team and keep the property safe, with a "safety first" culture
What you bring:
- 3–5 years of related experience (occupancy, leasing, or APM role) and an Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Supervisory or team-lead experience [original posting says "supervisory experience required"; this wording is softer, so keep it only if you'd consider strong APMs]
- Experience with site-based affordable housing programs strongly preferred
- COS and/or CPO certification strongly preferred [optional: "or willingness to obtain"]
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, property management software)
- Multilingual skills a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Successful background check and drug screen
