What You’ll Do
Store Operations
- Own day-to-day operations of the Bellevue location, ensuring operational excellence in every detail
- Deliver flawless product launches, in-store activations and community connection
- Lead the success of all store procedures including (but not limited to): scheduling, opening/closing, cash management, inventory, POS, safety protocols, and reporting
- Join weekly HQ calls and contribute to cross-functional projects
- Build strong relationships with mall management and neighbouring retailers
- Plan, execute and participate in retail events and activations,community partnerships and traffic driving initiatives.
- Support future Vessi store openings as needed
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top Sales Associate, Assistant Manager and Team Lead talent in collaboration with People & Culture
- Manage weekly schedules and labour planning with a focus on an exceptional customer experience, improving efficiency and profitability
- Lead product and brand training sessions to ensure all team members deliver strong customer education and storytelling
- Cultivate a positive, high-performance culture through motivation, coaching, and recognition
- Own performance reviews and people development to improve the team of today, tomorrow and the future.
- Drive strong sales results with a focus on achievement of F1 goal and Year-over-Year comp (when applicable) and deliver on key metrics including conversion, AOV, UPT, email capture and inventory health
- Analyze store performance, identify opportunities, and share weekly updates with the Market Manager, Director of Retail and/or HQ team
- Empower the team to deliver unforgettable, customer-first experiences every day to drive loyalty and brand obsession
- 5 years of experience in retail management, with 2–5 years as a Store Manager in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (footwear/apparel strongly preferred)
- A belief that everyone should experience happiness in the rain
- A natural passion for engaging with people, excellent communication skills and a passion for customer experience
- Proven leadership in building and retaining strong, high-performing teams
- Deep knowledge of retail store operations and KPIs
- Business-minded with a track record of exceeding targets
- Experience with Shopify POS and/or an e-commerce first brand
- Previous store opening experience
- Familiarity with the Greater Seattle Area customer base and incredible connections with the community.
