What You’ll DoYou’ll work directly with senior leadership across Vessel’s development pipeline, supporting projects from site evaluation through design, approvals, and delivery. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role with exposure to every part of the development process.-Advance development projects from site selection through design, permitting, and delivery, supporting wherever needed to move work forward-Evaluate potential development sites through market research, zoning and regulatory analysis, and development feasibility-Build, maintain, and adapt development underwriting models to support project decisions-Work across internal teams (design, engineering, construction) and external consultants to drive alignment and forward momentum-Prepare investment memos, presentations, and internal materials for senior leadership and capital partners-Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while continuously improving internal processes, models, and tools to increase efficiency and execution qualityWho You AreYou are a highly analytical, execution-oriented self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership of complex problems. You are excited by Vessel’s product and want to build a career in innovative, hands-on real estate development.-1–4 years of experience in real estate development, real estate private equity, investment banking, or real estate finance-Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to build and maintain rigorous financial models-Excellent ability to produce high-quality internal and external materials (memos, decks, exhibits)-Comfortable managing multiple priorities across acquisitions, development, and execution simultaneously-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable—nothing slips through the cracks-Strong written and verbal communicator who can clearly identify risk and explain complex issues-Naturally curious, resourceful, and willing to figure things out without heavy direction-Willingness to work in-person in New York City in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
