Summary of Position
Responsible for assisting with serving guests food and beverage in the restaurant or food and beverage outlets.
Work Hours
- Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
- Scheduling includes holidays, nights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.
Job Requirements

- Follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities
- Assists the service staff in the service of food for the guest.
- Ensure service is more efficient and timely and to guarantee the best possible dining experience for the guest.
- Completes opening, closing and side work.
- Sets up food carts and stations for service.
- Communicates with and supports all staff to better serve the guests.
- Deliver food and beverage to guests in an accurate and timely manner.
- Expo build tickets on food and kitchen line.
- Monitor each guest's dining experience.
- Pre-set tables for dining and clear tables for next course.
- Be knowledgeable of all menu items with ingredients with relation to common dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean dining area at all times.
- Ensure all equipment is in operation order and all supplies are up to par.
- Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
- Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
- Follow safety and security procedures.
- Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
- Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations.
- Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
- Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.
Compensation is $ 16.90 an hour per California's minimum wage. Additional compensation can be earned through gratuity, tips, and service charges.
