Role Description
Vesper Medical Transport is seeking EMTS and Paramedics, both full and part time, to our team in Cumberland and Oakland MD. This position is pivotal to the development and success of our program. YOU will have the opportunity to work with incredible colleagues. YOU will have the chance to collaborate with a collaborative hospital partner.
Paramedic: $31/hour- $33/hour based on experience
EMT: $20/hour- $23/hour based on experience
- Pre-Employment Package included.
- Full-Time benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO)
- 24, 8 and 12 hour shifts available
- Additional education & training if desired
Qualifications
- Possess an MD Paramedic License/ MD EMT License
- Active certification and registration as a Paramedic with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
- Current license as a Paramedic or Critical Care Paramedic with the State of Maryland
- Possess current BLS, (ACLS, and PALS for Paramedic) certifications or willingness to receive PALS in first 30 days.
- A minimum of two (two) years' experience as a Paramedic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
- Ability to make patient care decisions quickly and appropriately.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
