Italian restaurant in Farmingdale Village looking for an experienced host/hostess. Weekend availability is a MUST!! Experience with opentable is a plus. Four shifts a week guaranteed
salary based on experience **
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers as they enter a restaurant, bar or similar hospitality establishment.
- Taking reservations or putting customers on a waiting list.
- Giving customers menus and showing them to their seats.
- Handling phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu.
- Assisting various restaurant staff when necessary.
- Providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas.
- Managing the waitlist and seating arrangements.
- Communicating with the kitchen and servers to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Maintaining a clean and organized front of house area.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
