Role and Responsibilities
As an Entry Level Software Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closed sales. You will:
- Leverage industry insights to generate and pursue sales leads through targeted outreach
- Ensure all company-generated leads receive prompt and thorough follow-up
- Conduct engaging sales presentations and detailed technical demonstrations tailored to the prospect's needs
- Close deals efficiently while ensuring diligent follow-through to maximize lead conversion
- Utilize CRM tools and analytics to track sales activities and performance
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with business goals
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Ability to identify and address business technology requirements
- Ability to simplify and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical prospects
- Proficiency in composing clear, professional, and effective email communications
- Exposure to integration technologies such as EDI, SDK, and API
- Strong problem-solving skills, along with excellent presentation and communication abilities
- Knowledge of order management processes in delivery and last-mile logistics
- Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage and analyze sales activities
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Personal qualities such as resilience, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset
- A willingness and ability to learn, adapt, and grow
