Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator/Project Manager to lead the full estimating process while successfully overseeing one to two projects from inception through completion. This position plays a vital role in project planning and success and works closely with owners, architects, other project managers, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and evaluate commercial construction bid opportunities
· Manage communication with owners, architects, and subcontractors during the bidding process
· Review and interpret plans, drawings, and contract documents
· Visit jobsites to assess accessibility, underground conditions, and other site-specific challenges
· Attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings
· Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain up-to-date pricing
· Prepare accurate cost estimates and present them for internal review
· Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with scope and standards
· Assist with procurement, value engineering, budgeting, and change orders
· Track costs throughout the project lifecycle to monitor budget adherence
· Perform other estimating or project support duties as needed
Qualifications:
· Minimum one (1) year of experience in commercial construction estimating.
· Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and project logistics
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Schedule:
· Monday to Friday (Full-Time)
· Occasional site visits or meetings as needed
