Job Description & Position Responsibilities:
Penta Research is seeking candidates to join our Next Generation Interceptor team supporting the Lockheed Martin customer. The candidate will work full-time onsite supporting the flight software team supporting full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, object oriented software design, development and test and integration.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, or related field from accredited university Proficient in C , object oriented design
Experience working in Agile environment
Understanding of software development practices and software process
Experience with Git, DevOps, Linux
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
Proficient with standard office computer software (Microsoft® Office®)
4 years related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in software engineering or related field from accredited university
8 years relevant experience
Experience with development in VxWorks or similar RTOS
Experience with Embedded Systems
Experience with flight software or large/complex system simulations
Full development lifecycle experience
Position location: Huntsville, AL. No travel is required for this position.
