Title: Model-Based Systems Engineer
Status: Top Secret / SCI
As a Model-Based Systems Engineer, you will:
● Provide on-site MBSE support at major intelligence centers (Huntsville, Suitland, Dayton, Charlottesville)
● Develop high-fidelity Systems Modeling Language (SysML) architecture models focused on foreign missile systems and Command & Control (C2) systems
● Design, develop, and maintain integrated DoDAF-compliant system architecture views and SysML artifacts
● Collaborate with government technical leads, product owners, and agency stakeholders on system modeling and requirements
● Produce high-quality technical and design documentation in support of system development and analysis
● Drive MBSE standardization, integration, and best practices across the joint environment Required
Qualifications:
● 8 years of systems engineering experience with a BS/BA; 6 years of relevant experience with MS/MA, and 3 years of relevant experience with Ph.D.
(An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
● TS/SCI clearance adjudicated and able to pass a polygraph
● Knowledge and hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools
● Experience developing SysML artifacts in support of real-world systems
● Familiarity with ITASE (Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment)
● Working knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
● Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
● Ability to work across multiple agencies and locations in a coordinated technical team Preferred
Qualifications:
● Experience supporting or working within the Intelligence Community (IC)
● Familiarity with some of the following tools:
o Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, Cameo Simulation Toolkit o RMSiS, MathWorks, CATIA, Simulink, STK
o Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel
o UAF/SysML, Enovia, NGTS, AFSIM● Demonstrated experience presenting technical updates to government customers and senior stakeholders
