Position Overview
Verveba Telecom is seeking experienced Utah-Licensed Journeyman Electricians to support a commercial electrical project in Eagle Mountain, Utah.
The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for performing electrical installation, troubleshooting, testing, and related construction activities while maintaining compliance with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Journeyman Electricians will also provide field guidance and oversight to Apprentice Electricians working on the project.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation, termination, and related construction activities.
- Install and work with electrical wiring, conduit, cable, devices, and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
- Perform electrical connections, terminations, and installations in accordance with project requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify installation issues.
- Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and code compliance.
- Use electrical testing equipment and tools as required.
- Coordinate daily activities with project supervisors and other trades.
- Provide direction and technical guidance to Apprentice Electricians.
- Maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with OSHA and project safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report project issues, material requirements, and field conditions to project leadership.
- Perform other electrical duties within the scope of qualifications and project requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current Utah Journeyman Electrician License – REQUIRED.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and applicable electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience using electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Ability to independently perform assigned electrical work.
- Ability to supervise and provide direction to Apprentice Electricians.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic.
- Ability to pass applicable background, drug screening, and client onboarding requirements.
- Ability to travel to and work in Eagle Mountain, Utah.
Per diem may be available for qualified traveling candidates, subject to project terms and eligibility. Overtime may be available based on project requirements.
Pay: $35.30 - $42.51 per hour
