What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Picker and Packer position at Verve Culture?
Full-Time Warehouse Associate responsible for picking and packing orders for direct-to-consumer and wholesale customers. Primary tasks include knowledge of product, pulling products, packing in correct boxes, packaging different items, ticketing merchandise as required by our customers, and assembling pallet shipments. Other warehouse duties may include cleaning, organizing, and restocking as directed by management. The ideal candidate will be efficient, neat, and organized and have strong attention to detail while packing orders as we strive to provide our customers with a memorable and happy experience when unboxing their order.
Responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming pick tickets
- Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
- Assemble products and packaging
- Ticketing and labeling per customer requirements
- Build pallets with orders and position them for loading.
- Wrap orders before loading on trucks
- Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
- Keep records of completed orders
- Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
- Maintain workstation and warehouse cleanliness
- Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards
- Assist with inventory cycle counts
Skills
- Forklift experience a must
- Attention to detail
- Efficiency in repetitive tasks / assembly lines
- Organized and able to keep a tidy workspace
- Pallet jack experience
- Amazon FBA fulfillment experience a plus
- Accurate order pulling
- Ability to learn all details of different products
- Warehouse safety procedures
Physical abilities
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for most of the day
