Position Summary

As a Production Operator II, you will play a key role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for operating machinery, monitoring production lines, and ensuring that products meet high quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Key Responsibilities
- Production Processes, including Packaging & Fulfillment of coffee & merchandise
- Operate weigh and fill machines, band sealers, scales and grinders with efficiency
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment
- Perform quality control checks on bags of coffee and outgoing packages
- Load outbound freight efficiently and safely
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
- Safely operates handling equipment including, but not limited to, pallet jack, forklift, walkie stacker, and ladder
- Leading team by example being a proactive problem solver and fill-the-gaps team player
- Training new operators
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Performs other general warehouse duties as assigned by department manager
- Champion continuous improvement in organization and manufacturing processes
Qualifications and Requirements
- 2 years prior experience in a fast-faced manufacturing setting required
- Show initiative, with an inclusive, positive and professional attitude
- Adaptable with a willingness to learn and take direction
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Proactive mindset, a problem solver with the ability to work independently and a strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Basic Google Suite, Microsoft Word, and Excel skill a plus
- Bilingual in English & Spanish a plus
- Shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00am- 3:30pm, but the position is mission-driven, and will sometimes require additional hours paid at an overtime rate
Physical Requirements
The following physical demands outline the requirements necessary for employees to effectively carry out the essential functions of this position. Please note that our facility operates in a non-climate-controlled environment, subjecting employees to varying temperatures, including heat during the summer and cold during the winter.
During the performance of duties, employees are expected to engage in regular communication, auditory perception, and reading tasks. This role is dynamic and involves prolonged periods of standing (or being on one's feet for up to 8 hours), walking, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and crouching throughout the shift. Additionally, employees will be required to lift products and packaging overhead and may frequently handle items weighing between 25 and 70 pounds. Essential vision capabilities for this role encompass close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Furthermore, adept finger and wrist dexterity are essential for successful performance in this position.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and location.
Compensation Range: $20-$23/hr or DOE
