What are the responsibilities and job description for the Courier Driver - Independent Contractor position at Verum Global LLC?
We are seeking candidates who own or have access to a reliable vehicle suitable for delivery purposes. Applicants must also hold a valid driver’s license and maintain personal auto insurance.
Position Overview:
Drivers pick up pre-sorted packages each morning and complete deliveries to residential and commercial customers in metro Houston, and surrounding areas. Warehouse arrival time is 6:30 am to load routes. All routes and deliveries are expected to be complete same day; drivers will maintain communication with dispatch while on route.
Pick up Location: 4006 Westport Dr Ste 101 Brookshire, TX 77423
Delivery Area: (South Houston, South West Houston, Inner city, Missouri City, Katy, Memorial, Fresno)
Start time for Routes: 6:30am
Pay potential for full time drivers $1,750
Weekly payments via direct deposit or check.
Candidates must have a smartphone with a working camera for delivery confirmation and be able to lift and carry packages weighing 5 lbs or less.
Applicants should be physically capable of working 8-hour shifts, which may include standing, walking, lifting, and loading. Strong time-management skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
All applicants must be at least 18 years old.
