About the Role
Verum AV Solutions is seeking a Production Manager to lead the execution of live events across our growing portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring every event is delivered with excellence—from initial preparation through final load-out. The ideal candidate is a high-level production leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes ownership of both team performance and show execution.
Reporting Structure
This role reports directly to the Director of Live Events and works closely with sales, warehouse, and leadership teams.
Event Production & Execution
1 Oversee end-to-end execution of live events
2 Serve as lead show caller or technical director
3 Ensure gear, crew, and logistics are prepared
4 Maintain high standards across all production elements
5 Troubleshoot issues in live environments
Team Leadership & Crew Development
1 Recruit, schedule, and lead technicians and crew
2 Train and develop team members
3 Build a reliable freelance network
4 Establish accountability and expectations
5 Foster a culture of ownership and improvement
Logistics, Planning & Systems
1 Oversee gear prep and coordination with warehouse
2 Build show files and documentation
3 Ensure clear communication across teams
4 Participate in planning and site visits
5 Improve processes and SOPs
Client & On-Site Leadership
1 Serve as on-site representative
2 Ensure client expectations are exceeded
3 Maintain professionalism under pressure
4 Support a service-first mindset
Qualifications
1 5 years in live event production or AV management
2 Proven leadership in complex events
3 Strong AV systems knowledge
4 Ability to manage multiple priorities
5 Strong communication and organization skills
6 Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible hours
Preferred Qualifications
1 Production company or large-scale event experience
2 Familiarity with Vectorworks, QLab, Dante
3 Experience improving systems and workflows
