Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, case managers, and discharge planners.
- Promote home health services, Medicare, and Private Duty Nursing to referral sources through presentations, in-services, and events.
- Identify new referral sources and actively grow the territory.
- Execute quarterly and annual business development plans to achieve growth targets.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and high-quality care.
- Track referral activity, territory performance, and provide input on market opportunities.
- Attend community and professional events to increase visibility and generate leads.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Nursing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of healthcare sales or business development experience; experience with skilled nursing, hospital, or DME sales preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills able to influence and educate referral sources.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and state-specific home health regulations preferred.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory and attend meetings as needed.
