Physical Security Analyst, Global Security Operations Center

Job Summary:

A Physical Security Analyst in Vertriax's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), providing 24x7x365 incident management and crisis response, is responsible for monitoring access control and video surveillance systems, coordinating incident response procedures, and providing support to other Vertriax business units. The role of the analyst is heavily focused on physical security, including the management of security platforms and personnel across multiple locations worldwide, as well as support to cyber, threat intelligence, risk management, and travel security programs.

Responsibilities:

· This position is primarily a night shift role; candidates must be available and willing to work overnight hours on a consistent basis.

· Initial training will be conducted during standard daytime business hours before transitioning to the assigned night shift schedule.

· Point of contact for intake and assessment of security incidents, escalations, and requests for information.

· Coordination of work orders for security officers and vendors on site.

· Alarm Monitoring and Response.

· Conduct investigations using CCTV and access control platforms.

· Perform routine audits to positively influence/inform security hygiene; ensure SOPs are followed.

· Perform a variety of basic cyber, threat intelligence, risk management, and travel security processes.

Experience:

· Previous experience in physical security preferred but not required.

· Competency in Microsoft Productivity Tools. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

· Access Control / CCTV profeciency preferred but not required.

Requirements:

· This is a shift-work role; the selected candidate must have the ability to work a variety of shifts to ensure continuous coverage of the GSOC.

· Handle the pressure of working with a high volume of information and tasks; prioritize tasks well.

· Quickly examine problems, identify causes, and implement resolutions.

· Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.

· Active listening skills and high attention to detail.

· Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all types and levels of personnel, including the public, in a professional and effective manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
