We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and support throughout their dental treatment journey. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a solid understanding of dental terminology, and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare providers. The candidate must able to multi task in a very busy office.
Duties
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, ensuring accurate billing processes.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure effective communication between patients and dental professionals.
- Support the front desk operations including phone etiquette, clerical tasks, filing, and intake processes.
- Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, follow-ups, and reminders.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including documentation review and management of medical records.
- Utilize dental practice software for efficient data management.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is mandatory.
- Familiarity with dental administrative support functions and office management practices.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems.
- Strong computer skills with experience in health information management systems is beneficial.
