Regional Director / Operations Director / General Manager
North and South Carolina (Hybrid with significant regional travel)

A Regional Director is required to take full ownership of multi-family HVAC operations across North and South Carolina. This is a senior regional leadership role with full P&L accountability, responsibility for operational performance, and the opportunity to lead project, operations and sales teams across a significant regional territory.
The Regional Director will suit a hands-on, metrics-driven leader from HVAC, mechanical services, building services or a related construction trade. You will be responsible for improving margins, developing teams, supporting regional growth and ensuring safe, consistent delivery across fixed-price construction projects.

The Regional Director / Operations Director / General Manager Role:
- Lead multi-family HVAC operations across North and South Carolina, with full regional P&L responsibility.
- Manage regional financial performance, job margins, budgets, forecasts and KPI reporting.
- Oversee project margin performance, job cost reviews, forecasts and risk mitigation planning.
- Develop and deliver annual budgets, operating plans and long-range regional forecasts.
- Lead and develop regional leadership teams across sales, preconstruction, project management, field management and site supervision.
- Drive operational excellence, safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the region.
- Partner with sales leadership to support pipeline development, customer relationships, margin growth and profitable project delivery.
- Provide regular reporting, commercial insight and regional performance updates to senior leadership.
Regional Director / Operations Director / General Manager Requirements:
- Experience as a Regional Director, Operations Director, General Manager, Regional Operations Manager or similar senior operational leadership role.
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in HVAC, mechanical services, building services or related trades.
- Proven P&L responsibility within a multi-location or geographically dispersed environment.
- Strong background in construction management and fixed-price project execution.
- Experience scaling operations, improving margins and driving profitable regional growth.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to interpret operational and financial data and take corrective action.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing geographically dispersed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in business, engineering or a related field.
