The role configures, prices and quotes solutions for the customer and has the knowledge to connect with the highest-level internal resources to initiate cross-selling opportunities and broker deals. After securing the order this role manages the order and solves complex issues as needed to meet all customer requirements to maximize profitability to the office and company. This role helps lead company initiatives in their territory.

Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains a Sales Plan for each assigned account and finds new clients and opportunities.
- Sells Vertiv products and services to client representatives, such as engineers, architects, or other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments.
- Collaborates with other Account Representative in the territory to offer the best possible customer experience to Vertiv customers.
- Achieves or exceeds sales quota.
- Maintains a pipeline in CRM with 3x quota level of personal sales activity.
- Develops trusted advisor relationships with highest level decision makers in our customer organizations and our internal organization.
- Prepares and follows up on quotations.
- Provides general sales support to customers.
- Builds rapport with customers through regular in-field customer visits.
- Prepares customer submittals, from order entry to shipment.
- Mentors other members of the team in technical and commercial aspects of the role and other areas of professional development.
- Assists Sales Manager(s) with Sales Strategies
- Assists Sales Manager(s) GM with special projects/ related tasks
- Viewed as subject matter expert and sought by others for guidance and advice.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- 8 years of successful sales experience, technical sales experience preferred
- Shows product expertise in one or more Vertiv products; able to effectively educate others
- Strong interpersonal skills a must
- Strong commercial and technical background and skills preferred
- Self Starter, Creative, and Critical thinker with the proven ability work independently at times
- Develop strategic and tactical plans to win business, including account plans
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities is required along with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Competence in all aspects of internal Liebert sales and order entry functions and policies.
- Competency in all Liebert products and services in line of business and adjacent lines of business to enable cross-selling
- Bring customer-first mindset in external and internal collaborations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business-related degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience), MBA preferred
