The ideal candidate will be comfortable translating strategic priorities into operating routines, performance measures, and field-ready enablement materials that support consistent execution across diverse global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth

  • Develop and own the multi-year global service parts strategy, aligned to overall services and company growth objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across regions — new markets, underpenetrated segments, pricing optimization, and channel expansion.
  • Set global standards and KPIs for service parts performance (fill rate, revenue growth, margin, inventory turns) while allowing for regional flexibility.
  • Partner with sales and marketing to build go-to-market strategies for parts.
  • Partner with NPDI team to ensure product release support strategic growth of parts business.

Leadership

  • Serve as the central point of alignment across regional service parts teams, ensuring consistent strategy execution while respecting local market dynamics.
  • Build governance cadences (e.g., quarterly business reviews) to track regional performance against global targets.
  • Identify and scale best practices across regions; resolve conflicts between global standardization and local needs.

Lifecycle Management

  • Own the service parts portfolio strategy, including pricing, obsolescence management, and end-of-life planning.
  • Partner with product engineering to ensure new product introductions include a fully developed parts strategy from launch.
  • Drive decisions on make-vs-buy, sourcing strategy, and supplier partnerships for parts.

Performance & Reporting

  • Define, monitor and improve key KPI for the global service parts business.
  • Build and present business cases for strategic investments (systems, network changes, new offerings) to executive leadership.
  • Report on strategy progress, growth metrics, and ROI to senior leadership.
  • Act as a key liaison with regional GMs, service leaders, and channel/dealer partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in service parts, aftermarket, supply chain, or related strategic roles, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategy across multiple regions or global markets.
  • Strong track record of driving revenue and margin growth in a part, aftermarket, or related B2B/B2C environment.
  • Deep understanding of parts planning, inventory optimization, and distribution network design.
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills; comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and boards.
  • Strong analytical skills — able to build and interpret financial models, forecasts, and business cases.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, engineering, supply chain, and finance teams.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require; travel may be up to 25%.

Key Competence

  • Strategic thinking with a bias toward execution
  • Cross-cultural and cross-regional influence
  • Commercial and financial acumen
  • Change management and organizational alignment
  • Data-driven decision-making
