What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Receiving Clerk position at Vertiv?
- Receives deliveries into IFS.
- Dispositions deliveries to maintain proper flow of materials in receiving area.
- Initiates VNC process with QA .
- Coordinate with inbound and outbound scheduling warehouse lead.
- Assist receiving coordinator to drive lean metrics that align with Vertiv goals
- Contact receiving coordinator for issues with intercompany deliveries to expedite PO issues.
- Train new team members on company standards, procedures, safety, and plant equipment on all shifts
- Participate in regular control point meetings to review performance and project progress with inbound warehouse activities in Anderson
- Assist with Information Technology implementation.
- Back-up receiving coordinator.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
