What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Scientist (Product Analytics) position at Vertisystem (A MOURI Tech Company)?
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in Product Analytics to support new product development and data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Product Data Scientist
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python
- Experience analyzing large datasets and delivering actionable business insights
- Expertise in A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and experimental design
- Experience defining KPIs, dashboards, and measurement frameworks
- Proven experience supporting 0→1 product development or new product launches
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Preferred:
- Experience with data pipelines or data engineering concepts
- Previous experience in a large-scale consumer tech environment
Note: Candidates with primary experience in Machine Learning, Ranking Algorithms, NLP, Computer Vision, or AI model development are not the right fit for this position.
