Following our 2026 expansion, we’re hiring a Brand Partnerships Director to lead the Media & Entertainment vertical on the East Coast. This role is built for a senior dealmaker who understands that gaming and social video are no longer niche channels—they are the primary lifestyle and discovery engine for entertainment audiences.
The Role
As Brand Partnerships Director, you will own revenue growth across the Media & Entertainment vertical, working directly with studios, streaming platforms, networks, and agencies to design high-impact, social-first partnerships.
What You’ll Do
• Own and deliver a defined annual revenue target across the Media & Entertainment vertical on the East Coast, with primary responsibility for NYC-based studio and agency decision-makers
• Prospect, structure, and close partnerships with film studios, streaming platforms, television networks, and their primary media agencies
• Develop and pitch multi-title, multi-phase campaign strategies aligned to the entertainment lifecycle (Teaser → Trailer → Premiere → Post-Release / Streaming), leveraging Vertiqal’s owned and operated viral distribution
• Build and deepen senior-level relationships at both the brand-direct and holding-company levels (GroupM, Publicis, Omnicom, Dentsu, Horizon, and others)
• Use Vertiqal’s proprietary Revmo platform to translate performance data (engagement, brand lift, tune-in outcomes) into insights that drive repeat investment and long-term partnerships
• Lead high-level creative thinking across pitches and RFPs, developing differentiated short-form and social-first ideas that outperform traditional digital media approaches
• Represent Vertiqal Studios at key industry events and festivals, including CinemaCon, Sundance, SXSW, Comic-Con, and Cannes
• Partner closely with Production, Data Science, and Product teams to influence the evolution of Vertiqal’s social commerce, measurement, and ad-tech capabilities
What You Bring
• 7 years of experience in direct ad sales at the Account Executive or Director level within Entertainment, Gaming, Media, or creator-led platforms
• Established senior relationships at major entertainment brands and holding-company agencies, with a track record of six- and seven-figure partnerships
• Deep understanding of theatrical releases, streaming launches, tune-in campaigns, and the evolving challenges facing entertainment marketers
• Strong data fluency and the ability to translate “viral views” into clear business outcomes
• Experience structuring both standard and non-standard agreements, including multi-title packages, custom integrations, and long-term partnerships
• Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% for client meetings and major industry moments
