What you’ll do
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day to day accounting operations, managing a team of accounting professionals, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Work closely with the Controller to assist in accounting initiatives including system changes, policy and procedure documentation, and other process improvements
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting staff (e.g., senior/staff accountants).
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Perform hands-on accounting work, including preparing entries, reconciliations, and reports as needed.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks).
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI).
